RPL Operations

The mission of the RPL Operations Team is to develop and maintain an RPL work environment that optimizes the delivery of innovative technology solutions in a timely manner and at competitive prices. Through a matrix organizational structure, the Operations Team manages the RPL facility and assures we conduct research in a manner that protects the environment and the health and safety of our staff and the public.

A key component of the Operations Team is the Analytical Support Operations (ASO). The ASO provides a broad range of analytical capabilities in support of Research and Development projects at PNNL in the identification and quantification of radioactive isotopes and organic/inorganic radiological compounds at trace levels in many different media samples.
